All about Cubicle1
Cubicle1 is the freelance portfolio of James Hallam, a web developer roaming around the Lincolnshire countryside. If you’re looking for a self confessed geek to get your company on the Internet with some much needed marketing then you might want to take a look at some previous work, if you’re more interested in the man himself then read on.
At this point I could pretend to be some huge company and talk in the third person. However, I’m a simple man with simple needs, essentially cake, water and biscuits. I spend most of my spare time with some form of gadget keeping me entertained and work full time for TJS. Based in Horncastle, with my lovely fiancĂ©e Rachael, I need some extra money to help pay for grown up things such as houses and weddings and hence I also try and work on other projects outside of my full time work.
The name Cubicle1 was chosen back in 2007 when I was working in a tiny cubicle office with very reasonable (read free) rates in my Dad’s office. As there was only one of me, I added the one on the end. It’s quite a simple name and I was happy with it until one client asked if it had anything to do with toilets. Now he could have pointed that out before I had the stationery, bank account and every other step finalised but I’m not changing it now. I’ll just have to live with the some people thinking I have something to do with toilet cubicles, which I’d like to make very clear, I don’t.
Not quite, I may have been a student for the majority of my life but I have qualifications to prove it in all kinds of things and if you’re interested in the full history of me then please take a look at my CV. I have worked with a diverse range of clients through freelance work and with TJS and really do enjoy my job.
Because nobody uses yellow and I like to be different.
The Pacman resemblence was completely unintentional, it’s just the way the design came out. It’s similar to the letter C in a font I liked.
